State-of-the art swimming pools
Our brand new 25m swimming pool and 20m learner pools offer you the perfect chance to splash, swim and unwind. Whether you're looking for a refreshing morning dip, family fun or serious lane training, we have something for everyone. There’s even a pool pod for enhanced accessibility and a combined lobby area makes the perfect viewing area. Afterwards, enjoy the pristine new male, female and group changing rooms, with inclusive changing places facilities available.
Cafe
A stunning, airy cafe offers plenty of places to sit and recharge after a workout or spa session. Ensure you sample the fine goods from the town’s artisan family-run business, MOST Bakery, which is expanding from its popular town centre location to move Altrincham. Serving up an array of incredible breads, cakes and pastries, not to mention amazing tea and coffees, it’s not to be missed.

Try our sensory shower – an indulgent experience featuring steam, light and aromas. For those who need the benefits of cooler temperatures after exercising, you’ll love our cold water ice fountain to beat inflammation and stiffness. To conquer pain and reduce stress, head over to our aroma room to reap the benefits of steam or enjoy our drench shower, which mimics the sensation of standing under a waterfall.

The refurbishment is taking longer than anticipated due to the project's large scale and the complexity of the upgrades, coupled with delays caused by weather.
With over 50,000 square feet to renovate and multiple areas of the building undergoing significant work, the process is extensive. We appreciate your patience as we strive to create a top-tier facility.
Trafford Council, along with our team, decided that preserving and refurbishing the existing building was the best approach for the environment. Demolishing the structure would have resulted in significantly higher emissions, impacting air quality. By choosing to refurbish, we are minimising environmental impact while still delivering a modern, upgraded facility.

Yes, you will be able to take a Spa-only membership for The Cove, without needing to have a move membership. However, this is not available during the presale period.
move Altrincham wet side village change provision consists of: 8 single changing cubicles, 12 double changing cubicles, 4 family/accessible changing cubicles, 3 disabled unisex accessible changing rooms including 1 changing places. Within the village change we will also have 2 single sex changing rooms with toilet and shower. One for females and one for males. Additionally, we have 2 group changing rooms for 20 people. Shower, toilet and lockers are also included.

No, there is no family spa membership. The Cove Spa is only available as an individual bolt-on.
